NOTES:  Dispensation variations:  Dispensations 1-4 are sometimes reduced to 2, making only 7.  RAC 3 or 2.  Dispensation 5 may be expanded to 3 sub-dispensations; Moses (The Tabernacle) to David, David (Solomon’s Temple) to Babylonian Captivity (Sanctuary – Ez 11:16, Return (Zerubabbel’s Temple) to Birth of Jesus.  Dispensation 6 may be divided into 2 sub-dispensations; Birth of Jesus to Acts 2 (Herod’s Temple) Jesus was full of grace and truth, it will be easier on Sodom & Gomorrah than on those who heard Jesus and rejected him; and Acts 2 to Revelation 4:1 (The Believer’s body is the temple).

Dispensation:  Oikonomia in Greek, Stewardship or Administration (7 times in N.T.).  Luke 16:2-3-4 (3x) in context of Luke 16:1-13.  Illustration of salt shaked onto bordered surface – each addition adds more light and therefore more accountability, which man ends up failing in one way or another.  The salt is accumulative until God is all in all through Jesus (Ephesians 1:10).  [10] That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him: (Eph 1:10 KJV) Dispensations are God ordained and have beginnings and endings in time.

God’s side is to dispense truth, our side is stewardship of the truth revealed to us, administer and steward the revelation.

Luke 16:[1] And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods. [2] And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou may be no longer steward. [3] Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord takes away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed. [4] I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses. [5] So he called every one of his lord's debtors, and said to the first, How much do you owe to my lord? [6] And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty. [7] Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore. [8] And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.

[9] And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations. [10] He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. [11] If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true [riches]? [12] And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own? [13] No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (Luk 16:1-13 KJV).   Who is the “certain rich man?”

Covenant: Contract – Promise - Testament.  God’s promise to man.  There are 2 major covenants and several other covenants.  Rainbow – Abraham – Davidic – Palestenian.  Holy Spirit – Fire.

We must correctly divide the Word of God, and let the Word of God correctly divide us.  Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Inbalances among believers:  Bereans, some Messianic, Baptist and Pentecostal groups. (Baptist Bride, Oneness Pentecostals, Paulicians)

Problem to unbelievers:  Ever learning & never coming to the truth > 2 Timothy 3:1-7, or unlearned & unstable wrestle with to their own destruction > 2 Peter 3:16

God of accommodation / God good – devil bad.
